The Quick Path to Certification
Don’t have time for the full Open Water course but still want to get certified? The PADI Scuba Diver rating is the perfect intermediate step. It takes roughly half the time and covers half the academic and pool sessions, allowing you to earn a certification while enjoying the rest of your holiday. You’ll be certified to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.

Prerequisites & Safety
✓ Minimum Age: 10 Years old.
✓ Swimming: Must be able to float or tread water for 10 minutes.
✓ Health: Must be medically fit for diving.
✓ Supervision: Certified to dive with a PADI Pro to 12m max depth.
The Scuba Diver Experience
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water Diver course. If your goal is to get in the water quickly or you are learning as a family with younger children, this is the ideal choice. The best part? You can upgrade to a full PADI Open Water Diver certification anytime in the future!
The course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development: Complete your eLearning to understand the basic principles of scuba diving before you even arrive.
Pool Training: Learn essential scuba skills in shallow water to get comfortable swimming and breathing underwater.
Open Water Dives: Head out on our boat to explore two fantastic dive sites within the Chumphon Marine Park to practice your skills and see the marine life.
